Our dash-mount outlet mounts easily into a dashboard, or, with a decorative bracket, under the dash. It is an ideal auxiliary outlet for cars, trucks, RV's, vans and boats where accessories and appliances up to 15 volts are used. The receptacle's unique "wings" retract when inserted into the dashboard hole, or bracket, and then extend in position to lock the outlet into place. The wings accomodate wall thicknesses up to 3/16". For use with thicker foam dashboards, a series of serrations outboard of the wings dig into foam and hold the unit in place. The complete kit includes lead wires, mounting screws, a self-adhesive pad and a splice connector for convenient installation. The outlet, which has a standard protective cap, is rated at 15 amps. Standard color is black.
